Keep Pubs Pumping

I was approached by ex-colleagues at VMLY&R to create the brand for their new campaign to help out pubs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The design-led initiative paired illustrators  with boozers.


The illustrator’s task was to create a piece of artwork to rep their beloved pub. Their unique piece of artwork was then printed on merch such as a swish t-shirt or tote bag, all whilst providing an income for those pubs who’ve had to close their doors (with a 5% fee given to the illustrators).

In less than a week, they raised nearly £5,000, and their efforts were recognized in multiple publications such as The Evening Standard, People of Print, TimeOut and SecretLDN. The overall campaign raised over £25k for independent pubs in the UK.


The bespoke tees and totes made to celebrate the likes a variety of pubs, for instance in London: The Dove on Broadway Market, The Star of Bethnal Green, The Glory in Haggerston, The Blue Post in Soho and more.
